Since 2004, Hong Kong Red Cross has been dedicated to impart knowledge on mental health and emotional support to the public. A pool of trained members knowns as “Psychological Support Team” will be called upon when emergencies or critical incidents happen, providing timely psychological support to reduce the affected’s emotional distress and sufferings, as well as to foster their adaptive functioning and coping capacity.
